Our story
A family farm on 252 Street in Aldergrove. Beni and Diana Cobaschi have grown Christmas trees here for more than ten years.

A family farm
We're Beni and Diana Cobaschi. We run Tannenbaum with our two kids, who have worked the season with us since they were small: dressing up as elves, helping customers and showing visitors where the big trees are.
That's the four of us in 2022, in front of seedlings the summer heat scorched.

Years in the ground
We plant about 4,000 seedlings a year. In the years it takes one to reach six or seven feet, we mow between the rows and shape each tree so it grows full.
Young trees are the most fragile. The 2021 heat dome killed about 1,000 of our seedlings, and the hot summer after it took another 600. Losses like that show up years later as gaps in the field, so some seasons have a smaller selection. The Langley Advance Times wrote about it.

Grown in the Fraser Valley
The mild, wet Fraser Valley weather suits firs. We grow three: Douglas fir, which grows wild all over the coast, plus Noble and Fraser fir, which hold their needles longer indoors.
